Our Commission Rates
For both bidding on YAJ or purchasing from Jap Online Stores (and from most other stores), we apply the same commission rate.
Our commission (markup) schedule:

For all items priced at 5000 yen and BELOW:
10.00 SGD (Singapore Dollars)
For all items priced between 5001 yen and 9999 yen:
15.00 SGD
For all items priced between 10 000 yen and above:
25.00 SGD

That’s it.
So, what is the actual amount you have to pay? There are FIVE components:
- Price (or winning bid) of item, plus
- Domestic (or Internal) shipping, plus
- Domestic (or Internal) banking, plus
- International Shipping, plus
- Our markup (detailed in the Schedule above)
Apart from that, at the point of ordering, a 40% non-refundable deposit is payable.
For buyers who wish their items to be shipped faster (see How we work for more details), an additional charge of 10.00 SGD applies.

However bear in mind that our estimates may not be reflective of what the ACTUAL price is, and we bear no responsibilities if something bad happens when our estimates are off-mark.
For other services:
listing an item to sell on eBay, the fee is S$0.50 per week of listing per item plus S$5 per item once sold, regardless of value.
for magazine exclusives items from Japan, do note that you have to pay for the magazine as well, regardless of whether you choose to keep the magazine or not.
